Emperor’s Children Terminators

Here is the first unit for a whole army commission for Emperor’s Children. We started with some low impact models which was a perfect unit to nail down the scheme and set the blueprint for the rest of the units moving forward. Lots of lessons learned on this unit and the applied lessons moving forward are very apparent on the next units for the army.

It was interesting as a character painter to know which steps to cut when painting an entire unit. I still am looking for that high impact but I can’t take forever because I have four other (or even 39 other) models to paint additionally. Knowing which steps to keep and which ones to toss are very important in high quality army painting.
